Connectivity Options
Choose from two options for connecting the PayLife POS terminals of a branch network to the
PayLife Acquiring Host (the PayLife data center).
Option 1: GPRS or IP
Example of a branch network connection to the acquiring host:
The connection of the terminal to the data center/acquiring host can be made via IP (Internet Protocol) or GPRS.
The connection of the terminal to the data center/acquiring host can be made via IP (Internet Protocol) or GPRS.
Option 2: VPN
Example of a branch network connection to the acquiring host:
The branch terminals communicate with the cash register. The branch cash register forwards the data to the company internal network via the company-VPN (Virtual Private Network MPLS). This network then sends the bundled data to the acquiring host via TCP/IP.
